Today, Paper Tiger Coffee Roasters sponsored a trophy for the NW Unfinished Car Show. Despite the typical NW weather, the rides came in, the spectators arrived, and we had a blast. Coffee in hand, we walked up and down the aisles, looking over all of the entries in various states of completion. Whittling down the field, one by one, we made our decisions based more on personal preference than finite details, like in other shows. This show is about the passion of the build, like our passion for coffee.Sipping on some java, we went through our favorites, and 2 kept coming back into the conversation. We settled on a beasty looking 1955 Dodge Stepside pick-up out of Kelso,WA owned by Joe Bino. The front end was just so damn menacing and endearing all at the same time. As a bonus, Joe is a huge coffee lover! We know the happy winners will be in Paper Tiger soon to have some freshly roasted, piping hot coffee goodness!
